Eight Steps to Me was born in the footsteps of a woman finding her path. Four years ago, Pirkko Tavaila was a busy woman living in Finland. Like her “super-woman peers” everywhere, her life was filled with work, family, friends, a list of social activities, and hobbies. In the midst of all the doing and achieving, she kept dreaming of simplicity, peace, and good health. Instead, insomnia, aches, and endless colds had become her way of life. Completely out of energy, she felt like failing in all areas of life. One day, on a remote beach, she decided to turn her life around.
